To provide concrete assistance

The FSJU aims to carry out humanitarian actions for populations in distress and poverty, with a view to contributing to their social integration.

The mission of the FSJU Israel association is to identify the needs of French-Israeli society and Israeli society as a whole, which may fall within the scope of FSJU's intervention.
FSJU Israel is also responsible for establishing these partnerships, initiating programs, and monitoring their proper execution.
The aid provided to partner associations, the programs operated by FSJU ISRAEL, or the "ad hoc emergency actions" are in the areas of vulnerability, children at risk, Holocaust survivors, emergency rehousing, women victims of domestic violence, residents of the South, and amount to hundreds of thousands of euros.

Israel is the OECD (Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development) country with the highest poverty rate. In 2020, before the pandemic, 23.8% of Israelis lived below the poverty line. Nearly one million children suffer from severe food insecurity, having very limited access to the most basic food products due to insufficient financial resources. Today, the number has risen to 29.3% (a total of 850,000 households), alarming and very worrying figures for Israeli society as a whole.

In this context, discussions with various local stakeholders highlighted the need to assist these families, some of whom are of French origin, who are in great distress and poverty.
