Myriam Fedida, Director of FSJU Israel, and Richard Odier, CEO of FSJU, met with them to present the field programs, the social initiatives supported by FSJU in Israel, as well as the human and societal challenges faced by the Israeli population, particularly since October 7.
The students notably visited the devastated kibbutz of Kfar Aza, one of the sites most violently affected during the October 7 attack. On site, they listened to the harrowing testimonies of their counterparts and residents, direct witnesses to the horror.
The trip continued to Ben-Gurion University, where they were able to interact with Israeli and Ukrainian students benefiting from scholarships established by FSJU Israel, discussing themes of resilience, social cohesion, and engaged youth in the face of adversity.
This moment of dialogue and sharing, focusing on Tech, entrepreneurship, and reality, between students
French, Israeli, and Ukrainian, illustrates the importance of building bridges between societies, youth, and shared commitments.
FSJU in Israel remains fully mobilized to build these bridges, strengthen ties, and support those who shape the future.
