FSJU Israel is strengthening its efforts by providing direct assistance to binational families residing in Jerusalem. This Monday, March 15, 2021, the Consulate General of France in Jerusalem and FSJU Israel signed a grant agreement for €100,000. This grant is part of the renewal of France’s emergency plan, until July 31, 2021, for French nationals abroad affected by the crisis caused by the pandemic.
This grant for FSJU Israel was decided by the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs at the request of the Consulate General of France in Jerusalem. It will enable FSJU Israel to provide emergency financial aid to those living in the Jerusalem Consulate’s jurisdiction, who have been severely impacted by the economic consequences of Covid-19.
The disbursement of this financial aid to families in need will be carried out in accordance with the government’s aid allocation criteria and the statutes of the FSJU Israel association.
