Consulate partnership

FSJU Israel has established a partnership with the General Consulate of France in Tel Aviv and the French Embassy as part of the effort to deal with the social impact of the health crisis in terms of unemployment in Israel, particularly on dual nationals.
It involves emergency aid funds intended to alleviate the effect of the crisis on the more poverty stricken members of our community and quickly solve emergency situations with simple procedures without an intermediate organization, including unpaid rent, utility bills, health costs and school fees, for dual nationals or French nationals in passage in a critical situation.
In order to avoid duplication of effort among the field associations that we support assisting families in poverty, deal with the multiplicity of initiatives by the small associations and not lose efficiency, the goal is to reinforce the already existing synergy and cooperation with the Ministry of Labor, Social Affairs and Social Services, municipalities, francophone representatives in each municipality and Ministry of Absorption as well as the expert social workers in the field, the professional partners of FSJU Israel. The cases to be considered come from the various social services and are handled jointly with the General Consulate of France.
